Our Goals for our Facility Ministry
God has entrusted us with a building to meet in. Therefore, we want to be good stewards of the resources under our care. We draw motivation from Jesus’s parable of the talents:
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master’” (Matthew 25:21).
This parable is about servants wisely using and investing talents entrusted to them. Since God has granted us this building, we want to demonstrate good stewardship over it.
We have two goals for facility: (1) Ensure our facility clean and tidy, and (2) Maintain the structural requirements of our facility.
1. Ensure our facility is clean and tidy.
In order to keep our facility clean, we have a weekly, monthly, and annual checklist of tasks to be completed. We are also responsible to regularly restock our supplies.
2. Maintain the structural requirements of our facility.
It is important that we keep up to date on all matters of maintenance, which includes regularly scheduled tasks, as-needed repairs, and desired renovations and upgrades.
Our Structure for our Facility Ministry
To accomplish our goals, we have established an intentional facility structure. In this structure, the elders will oversee our facility ministries.
